GRiZ Announces Funksgiving Show With Lettuce & More In San Francisco

first_imgThanksgiving just got real funky in San Francisco, as GRiZ has announced he will team up with Lettuce, Haywyre, and Brasstracks for a special “Funksgiving” event at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on Saturday, November 26th.It’s not the first time that GRiZ and Lettuce have shared the same bill, as both acts appeared on the Fool’s Paradise lineup earlier this year, and subsequently shared the stage for what turned out to be an epic set. Broadway Grosses: Larry David’s Fish in the Dark Draws Crowds

first_imgThe Larry David-penned Fish in the Dark began previews at Broadway’s Cort Theatre on February 2, and people are already standing in the back just to catch the Seinfeld co-creator’s Broadway debut. With its first seven performances, the play exceeded capacity at 101.05% and grossed just shy of seven figures at $993,940. Joining the comedy in the top five grossing shows were box office perennials The Lion King, The Book of Mormon, Wicked and Aladdin. Meanwhile, in its final week of performances, the Hugh Jackman-led The River took the top spot by capacity. Emma Stone will also end her perfectly marvelous run in Cabaret on February 15. The Oscar nominee has continuously played to impressive crowds at Studio 54, and at 98.21% capacity, this week was no exception.
