Mark Your Calendar: Friends of Foster Children Announce Fundraising Luncheon

first_imgProceeds from the luncheon will benefit the community through a variety of projects that Friends of Foster Children works on each year. Projects include a school supply drive, a successful college scholarship program, and FOFC’s largest project – The Sugar Plum Tree. The Sugar Plum Tree grants holiday wishes to over 400 foster children each year thanks to gift donations from members of the community. Top of the News Community News First Heatwave Expected Next Week Friends of Foster Children is a non-profit, all volunteer organization founded in 1976 to enhance the quality of life for abused, abandoned, and neglected children in the San Gabriel Valley by providing goods, volunteer services, and financial support to emancipated youth and foster children living in residential treatment centers. To continue their 40th anniversary celebration, the luncheon transport guests back to 1976 where Friends of Foster Children all began. Tickets are $38 per person.
